Review GRUR meets Brussels 2010
On March 24, 2010, the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) arranged its 4th GRUR meets Brussels Workshop at the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union in Brussels. 
The workshop entitled "Cultural flat rate, digital libraries, Creative Commons - What role for collecting societies in the 21st century?" gave a platform for disucssion and networking to over 70 invited guests and representatives of the European Parliament, the European Commission and of European interested parties. Distinguished speakers and panellists including Dr. Tilman Lüder (EU-Commission), Prof. Dr. Karl-Nikolaus Peifer (University of Cologne), Mr. David Uwemedimo (CISAC), Prof. Dr. Metzger, LL.M (University of Hannover), Victor Vázquez-Lopez (WIPO), Prof. Dr. Thomas Dreier (University of Karlsruhe) and Dr. Catharina Maracke (Creative Commons International) outlined their visions and visions on the subject and discussed them with the audience.
